The Microsoft Imagine Cup is the world’s premier student technology competition, which invites all eligible students to use their imagination and passion to create a technology solution in one of our competitions and challenges.
Over the past ten years, more than 1.65 million students from more than 190 countries have participated in the Imagine Cup. When you join the Imagine Cup community, you’ll connect with other whip-smart creatives from all over the world to share ideas, have fun, and be there when the next big thing is unveiled.

This year, around 26 European teams will be participating to the WorldWide Finals of the competition, among 29,100 Active Participants, 305 students, 69 represented countries and a Total of 86 Teams: 36 teams for the World Citizenship challenge, 3 for the Windows 8 Challenge, 31 for the Innovation Challenge, 3 for the Windows Azure Challenge, 19 for the Games Challenge and 3 for the Windows Phone Challenge.
