I wanted to share with you the fact that we joined the COCIR. We are delighted to be joining such a distinguished, well respected and professional organization.
For the company, it is a natural step as part of Microsoft’s commitment to improving health through innovation in software and services. Over the past decade, the company has gradually increased its presence in healthcare. To quote Niels Solberg, Microsoft Public Sector EMEA Vice President, “We believe in the importance of cross-industry collaboration to drive transformation in healthcare in close cooperation with key stakeholders. Membership of COCIR will help us to achieve this.”
It is a great way to close the current year and enter into a fruitful and collaborative 2010… stay tuned….
