Kirsten Panton
Western Europe Lead Partners in Learning

Kirsten Panton works as the Western European lead for Partners in Learning - Microsoft’s global 10 year and app. 500 mio dollars initiative designed to actively increase access to technology and improve its use in learning. The goal is to help schools gain better access to technology, foster innovative approaches to pedagogy and teacher professional development and provide education leaders with the tools to envision, implement and manage change.

Before joining Microsoft in 2003 as the Partners in Learning manager, Kirsten had spent 15 years working in the education sector. This includes 11 years at Niels Brock, the largest business college in Denmark in the roles of teacher, program manager and Head of Information. And she spent one year as Head Teacher at Roskilde Business College.

Kirsten holds a Master of Science (Economics) degree and a Diploma degree in Pedagogy.
