About the Author

Lisa Boch-Andersen
Senior Director for Communications Europe

Lisa Boch-Andersen is Senior Director of Communications and leads the European Citizenship Communications Campaign for Microsoft. Joining Microsoft in 2008, Lisa is responsible for highlighting the contribution of ICT in solving key European societal challenges, including healthcare, environment, education, as well as in improving overall competitiveness. She is passionate about offering a platform for information & enabling the debate between European decision makers, industry and stakeholders alike, with the goal of developing the best technology and policy for a competitive Europe. Lisa is the Chief Editor of www.microsoft.eu, and of our flagship innovation magazine Futures.

Before joining Microsoft, Lisa worked for over 10 years with ExxonMobil, where she held positions in Marketing/Communications, Media Relations and Public Affairs during her 10-year career there. Among her roles was leading ExxonMobil's EU advocacy strategy on energy, as well as relations with the EU press corps. Prior to this, Lisa was responsible for the company’s CSR strategy in Europe, driving the development of ExxonMobil's policy and communications strategy in Europe. Lisa’s experience in Brussels also extends to a former role within the European Commission DG Enterprise, working with Industrial Policy and Competitiveness.
