About the Author

Paul Lloyd Robson
Environmental Sustainability, Microsoft Corp
Paul Lloyd Robson has been with Microsoft since 2006 where has worked with CSR and environmental sustainability with a focus on demonstrating the enabling aspects of technology on solving some of society’s most pressing problems. Today he is responsible for managing Microsoft’s global environmental sustainability engagement in the field. Paul has been engaged in numerous partnerships with Microsoft’s customers, partners as well as with NGO’s and Governments with the common theme of illustrating the enabling power of innovative technology in reducing environmental impacts. His work includes driving Microsoft’s efforts in the field to show leadership in the utilization of technology to reduce its own carbon emissions and waste as well as participating in global policy discussions such at the Global UNFCCC Climate negotiations. Paul holds a Master of Political Science from the University of Copenhagen and has a deep background in technology and environmental issues.
