Townsend Feehan
Attorney
Townsend Feehan joined Microsoft in 2002, from EICTA (now Digital Europe) where she was Deputy Director-General.  She has done policy outreach work for Microsoft on IP, cloud and antitrust issues, and currently runs an Academic Programme that Microsoft launched in EMEA in 2009.  She is a US national, but has lived in Europe for 24 years, including 20 years in Brussels.  She has a bachelor’s degree in international relations, and an M. Phil. in European law and politics from the University of Edinburgh.

For several weeks now, internet users visiting MSN sites in EEA countries will have seen a small “AdChoices” icon next to online adverts appearing on the sites.
