Cloud Computing and the entrepreneurs

You may have caught one of my earlier post in this video series in which I discussed why Microsoft is so involved with start-ups and entrepreneurs and give a few insights into some of the programmes we run to support them.
In this second installment I talk about cloud computing, in particular, why it’s so important for entrepreneurs and the wealth of opportunities it has created for the smart start-ups that are able to take advantage of it. In the video, I describe the obvious advantages like low capital costs and being able to only pay for what you need. The biggest difference to entrepreneurs though is the disruptive potential of the cloud: the fact that picking the next great thing and changing the way we’ve done business for years is now within the reach of millions of entrepreneurs.
