Guiding principles

We have designed this site to help improve public understanding of technology and the policies that affect it.  We seek to generate an open, transparent, honest and balanced debate on this site.

This site contains information and opinions from Microsoft and other experts from business, academia, government and policy organisations.  We also welcome your comments and contributions to the site!

Comments and contributions are moderated, and will appear as and when they have been approved by the moderator, supported by the editorial team when needed.

Comments that we deem inappropriate or irrelevant – such as personal information, commercial offers, offensive language, blind links, or off-topic remarks – will not be posted, or may be edited before posting.

Microsoft.eu aims to reflect a diverse range of views, which may or may not represent those of Microsoft itself.  We are not responsible for opinions expressed by contributors.

If something that we have produced and posted ourselves (not the contribution of a third party) is proven to be factually incorrect, we will admit it and correct it.

The site is managed by the EU Citizenship Communications of Microsoft Europe, with an editorial board composed of representatives of Microsoft Europe.
