Building on the success of last year’s Digital Values series, Microsoft is introducing a new speakers’ series called TRANSFORMATIVE CONSUMER TECHNOLOGIES. This speaker series focuses on a specific technology trend and how innovative minds are turning it into something beyond its main purpose.
Natural Computing will focus on Natural User Interface (NUI), and how this technology has evolved beyond entertainment to become one of the most promising technologies for a variety of applications in business, education and, healthcare. NUI is an IT system that allows users to interact with the computer through body motions, gestures and spoken commands. This technology opens up enormous opportunities to address societal and economic challenges.
