Building on the success of last year’s Digital Values series, Microsoft is introducing a new speakers’ series called TRANSFORMATIVE CONSUMER TECHNOLOGIES. This speaker series focuses on a specific technology trend and how innovative minds are turning it into something beyond its main purpose.
Social computing is progressively redefining the relationships between businesses and their consumers, but also the way people communicate and connect with each other. Increased connectivity, notably through social media and social networks, generates more information in a short period of time. It is gradually lowering the cost of software, finding relevant information more quickly, and making organizations more agile and responsive.
This event aims to give the audience a new perspective on social computing – beyond social networking.
