Europe leading nation-wide implementation of eHealth solutions

The European Commission-funded 'eHealth Strategies study' has published an overview report that traces European countries’ progress along the goals set out in the eHealth Action Plan.

The report shows that political and stakeholder interest have gained significant momentum. In addition, an online database with country reports and further information offers a unique resource of up to date evidence on eHealth activities across Europe. As Pēteris Zilgalvis, Head of the EC’s ICT for Health Unit commented, “Now the challenge is to cooperatively address the issues identified.
