What is the Carbon Disclosure Project?

How do you hit a carbon emissions target if you don’t know how much you are producing? This question was answered by the Carbon Disclosure Project that transparently publishes the carbon emissions of 2,500 organizations in some 60 countries around the world.

This is important because it is a voluntary way to encourage organisations to measure and disclose their greenhouse gas emissions and climate change strategies, in order that they can set reduction targets and make performance improvements.

Kate Levick talked to us about the Carbon Disclosure Project and its 10-year work to acquire carbon footprint information organisations with the combined assets of 64 trillion dollars, an unparalleled success that influences financial decisions to be more sustainable in its outlook.
