Get on the Bus (and take your career to the next step...)
03 November 2009
As of last week the Microsoft Born to Learn team has been touring Europe on a bus and creating a lot of buzz...

At each stop, trainers provide guidance to students, informing them about training and certification opportunities that can help sharpen their skills. In addition, the students get to try out next year’s hottest technologies through previews of various new Microsoft products, such as Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2, and Microsoft Exchange Server 2010.
If you still want the chance to Get on the Bus and join the Born to Learn community, watch the calendar and discover when they will be near you as they travel through several European cities (Milan, Zurich, Paris, London, York, Brussels, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, Prague and Berlin.) This type of initiative is about creating excitement and learning opportunities around e-skills.... an effort which supports the very objectives of the EU e-skills Awareness Campaign and the
eSkills Week launched by the EU Commission’s DG Enterprise, which Microsoft supports and is a proud partner of.
The team is regularly posting on their blog as they travel through Europe.
Check it here for the latest updates and stories. I’d recommend you check out
a short interview with Chris Manue, a Microsoft Student Partner who is travelling with the team and talks about what he hopes to get out of the tour in terms of career development and future career opportunities (turn up the volume, it’s low-budget filming so sound didn’t come out too clear..!)
We’ll shortly be posting some interviews with members of the team and some students who attended the event in Belgium. Watch this space.
